Not sure how this will work. Any Rutger's lurkers wanna explain how this worked for their game there a couple weeks ago?

This is the most important aspect of the game.

Here is a map that shows the best place to park and tailgate. You can put the address of the garage into gps. (30 e 161st st., ny, ny)

We parked on the top level of the 161st. Garage and we had a gas grill and alcohol is ok but you need to keep it in a cup. The parking attendants will come by to tell you the rules, just yes them to death and they are cool.

Stay away from the Harlem River Lots.

KnightSweats, RUPrincess, and several others of us have been tailgating together for some time now at RU. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the tailgate at the Stadium against Army this year, but I can tell you they really do know their way around tailgating.

The reality with Yankee Stadium is that you can tailgate inside the parking decks, but you need to be aware that grills inside the decks are not allowed. If you are parked on the top of the deck, you can grill.

As for alcohol, KnightSweats is spot on. Whether you are on the top level of the deck or on one of the other interior levels, as long as you keep the beer in plastic cups (think the Solo brand) you're good to go.

Does anyone know how much a beer costs at a bar next to the stadium? or in the stadium? I can only assume an arm and a kidney.

20 oz. beer is $11 in a plastic cup.

If you are going to NYY Steak or Hard Rock Cafe inside the Stadium, prices will be commensurate.

Have fun in the Big Craphole. We'll be watching from the sofa with a fire in the fireplace.
Let's all go to green Bay and have some winter fun. I'm certain their museums, broadway shows, dining and siteseeing are 2nd to none. What a hokeyed comment!!

Someone around here, whether it's the Alumni Association, Gridiron Club or CF, needs to designate a few Cyclone tailgating bars, either near the team hotel or closer to the Bronx/Stadium or wherever, really, so those of us not driving can all meet up with fellow Clones and do some good ol' fashioned bar tailgating before the game, then hop on the subway or walk or whatever and head to the game.

Go Cyclones!

Not exactly sure.

Actually green bay has plenty of things to do. There are no broadway shows, but then again I have no desire to watch singing and prancing, so this doesn't bother me.

Does it have as many things as NYC, no, but still plenty of fun and activities to keep you busy.
