so now with the ksu loss.. what are we thinking? I'm betting on one of the texas bowls

I'm fine with TicketCity (since I'm off work that day and I like the "new year's day" slot even if it means less than it used to) and would not be excited about Pinstripe.

This doesn't answer your question about what is "probable."

i'd say we are the most attractive 6-6 team.

I would totally agree, but from a money stand point, ATM is only a couple hours from Houston, so they'll probably be able to sell more tickets than they would to ISU. Even though we travel really well. So I would guess they pick ATM and Pinstripe then chooses between ISU and Missou. And we go to NYC and Missouu has to find something else.

Ames
Fiesta Bowl-Oklahoma
Sugar Bowl-Oklahoma St.(at-large,Lousiville goes to Orange)
Cotton Bowl-Kansas St.
Alamo Bowl-Baylor
Insight-Texas
Holiday-Iowa St.
Car Care Bowl-Texas A&M
Pinstripe-Missouri

We will either be at the Holiday or Pinstripe...A&M to Car Care Bowl because they're from Texas

We would play Cal, Arizona St. or Utah...would like a rematch with Utah but I think they would pick Cal over them

Collegebowlprojections.com has updated their picks and they have us in the Pinstripe Bowl vs. Rutgers. First site I have seen to put us in a Big XII bowl.

If the Big 12 gets two into the BCS, it will come down to the Holiday Bowl selecting us or Mizzou. And we know who got selected ahead of Mizzou a couple of years ago for the Insight. Let's hope for a repeat! Plus, they are leaving the conference and we are becoming fan favorites across the country with Paul Rhoads leading the way!

IF it comes to that...no way they take Mizzou. Write it up.

Please Big 12, force Mizzou to NYC.

From Chris Williams eariler...
Here's why TicketCity was and still is an option.

Based off of what I'm hearing from some sources in KC, instead of the Big 12 sticking it to Missouri and sending the Tigers to a non-Big 12 bowl, they could stick it to the Tigers and send them exactly where they DO NOT want to go. NYC.

In that scenario, where the Big 12 does NOT get two BCS teams, ISU could go to Dallas, which I assume would make everybody in Ames VERY happy.

Just a theory. Don't make any travel plans because of it. A lot of football left to be played today. An ISU win changes everything, same with outcome of Bedlam game.

And considering how Mizzou was yanking the conference's chain by holding the conference up with their wavering and thinking we actually cared if they stayed. Time to repay them by sending them to NYC to say thanks for leaving!

I think that was before Houston lost and will now not make the BCS. Now that they aren't, the TicketCity Bowl will now have a C-USA team to take.

Yeah, that's probably true, but the part I emphasized what that they were thinking about sending Mizzou to the pinstripe.
