I almost feel like he was hacked because he said my qb sucks. Maybe not, but that doesn't usually seem like something you would make public unless you really didn't like each other.

That was the dead giveaway. Everything I was told--by Allen himself, Coach Anderson and Logan Augustine (his QB at Urbandale)--indicated that Augustine taking over at QB was part of the reason he had such a big year offensively last year. The chemistry they've developed after playing together for several years, etc.

Plus, even if he actually thought it (and I don't believe for a second that he did), I left my interview with the impression that Allen is WAY too smart to say something like that publicly.

The OP should be banned immediately. Not only for the thread title, but the contents as well. Seriously, we JUST had a photoshoot with Allen in his Urbandale gear and I have a story angle that's pretty much dependent on what he's done at Urbandale and how it ties with his decision to attend ISU. In fact, transferring to one of the "sexy" metro programs would completely torpedo my angle. So I doubly hate the OP for nearly giving me a heart attack just now.

Not sure if I buy the whole Dowling thing. If he transfers in August he'd have to sit out 90 days correct? Therefore he wouldn't be eligible for football till November

Since Dowling is a private school, I'm not sure this applies.

However, whether he is actually transferring, I have no idea.
