Also, it seems like people have already forgotten about Jake Williams. He was good last year and will be better this year.

In my NCAA11 rosters on NCAA10 I downloaded. I had Williams as my 5th WR, behind Darks, Reynolds, Young, and Johnson.

He is not forgotten. To me, this thread is about finding a player that will make the same type of jump that Williams did last year.

Knott and McD on D, Money and Sed on O. I respect what Jake Williams did last year but if half of the potential would show up at WR and half of the injuries would not have happened, he would not have gotten half the snaps that he did last year...

Arnaud has great arm strength. He hits that deep out easily and with velocity. Touch and timing in the offense have been his problems.

This. Arnaud has the arm strength to make every throw he needs to. But not always the touch or accuracy or timing.

It will be hard for a lot of our guys on offense to not break out since most of them have been together for a full season already with the same coaches.

Who do you think could be the most improved player this season?

I'm going with Austen Arnaud as THE breakout player of 2010/11. He has all the tools and a tough year (in which he battled hard) under his belt. He has a slew of receivers with real potential and a great line in front of him. I think he's going to have a big year.

BUT I think we should keep an eye on these guys to have really good years, too

A-Rob
Franklin
MacDonough
Johnson
Sims

And I love the left side of this offensive line: Osemelee, Alvarez and Lamaak. Really a good unit.

Even without Haughton, I really believe that the ISU offensive line will be the best one we see on our schedule this year.

That's a tall order but I hope your right!

It NEEDS to be Arnaud, if we want to be succesful IMO. Last year, against a weak schedule, we were able to barely make a bowl game by riding the legs of ARob all year and AA doing nothing for us.

That won't work this year against our schedule. AA has to be the breakout player for us to have a chance of going back to a bowl game.

Im praying Durrell Givens takes over O'Connells spot. David Simms needs help back there.

It is known among the team, Jake has the best hands on the team. So if you need a guy to catch the ball, thrown good or bad, JW will see the field eitherway. He may not have the natual ability as the others do, however, I'll bet he is on the field a lot this year with the Money, DD, SJ...

It needs to be AA for the breakout player...
