Side bar but on the topic of the draft, I'm looking at mocks and how did Iowa and ISU both completely miss out on Trevor Penning from Mason City? He's a first round lock out of UNI. Commonly to the Saints at 19.
He was a 260 pound basketball player that only played football in high school to stay in shape. UNI brought him in as a project TE that they were going to thin down and then he fell in love with the weight room.

Spencer Brown that went to the Bills in the 3rd last year is a very similar story. Penning's younger brother that will be an RS Soph at UNI this fall is on the same path.

It's great that the Bills are both an excellent fit for Breece and are probably the most likely 1st round choice (barring any trades). I know I will be anxiously awaiting pick #25 tomorrow night to see if it can happen.

If the Bills take Breece, I'm going streaking. Our offense will be damn near unstoppable.

I am not a Bills fan...but I love watching them play! They are fun and good! As a Steeler fan I wish the Bills were an NFC team...but I would enjoy seeing them rise up to the elite level for the next few years.

Tampa at 27 could be a strong possibility also. Ronald Jones left and Fournette is getting older and doesn't have the best track record of staying healthy.

Tampa, Buffalo, Arizona, would all be dream scenarios where he could really thrive and be playing alot of post-season football.

For Breece’s sake, I REALLY hope he ends up in Buffalo. That’s a team that’s built to compete for a Super Bowl right now. All eyes are on Josh Allen, Breece would be able to run wild.
Buffalo hasn't had a consistent running game since Allen's arrival. A RB like Breece truly opens the playbook and will help keep Allen clean.

And even with NFL speed on a defense defending the read option with Breece and Allen would be a nightmare. Especially if you throw a pass option in there.

They averaged 16 ppg last year, they have probably the worst Qb, recievers, and tight ends in the NFL. The touchdown chances just won't be very high.

Plus they are likely to be playing from behind often which will limit his rushing potential if he goes there since they will throw alot in catch up mode.
Atlanta is far worse. All they have is Kyle Pitts. They need a running back, but I don't see them taking one in the first 2 rounds. Buffalo would probably be the only team that would take a RB in round 1. Maybe K.C.

Not going to happen but I really wish the Chiefs would take Hall with their second 1st round pick. They need a back that can go the distance, but also get yards when the defense is playing pass, like they were against the Chiefs a lot last year. The defense was giving us the run, and we just did not have a back that could hurt them enough to force the D to come up and stop the run. Hall would be that type of back.
