If you go to Old Chicago maybe you can have a drink with him.

He is going to have to drive a long time before he finds a sonic.

Not sure but "Dejean Bryce Jones" transfer from UNLV came up after every stoppage of play.
Early in the game, Musberger said BDJ had played at about six other schools before Iowa State. I know he was exaggerating intentionally but that's annoying. He's played at three.

Also, the "Transfer U" schtick is so dumb now, yet I heard it a dozen times tonight. Our starting lineup consists of three HS recruits, a JuCo and a graduate transfer. Our main bench players are a transfer, a HS recruit and another JuCo. AKA 2 out of 8 main contributors are transfers.

He could screw up everyone's name and those two would still be my favorite bball broadcast team.

My favorite broadcast team also... They have fun and love coming to Hilton. Let's show them some love, people!

I'm not sure why all the hate for Musberger. Yeah he is getting up there and says some weird stuff from time to time but if he is calling your game, you and/or the matchup is big time. Up until last year he always called college football's game of the week. He is always very complimentary of ISU and who can forget him calling the ISU-kNU football game in 2002. He was an ISU fanboy that game. He kept saying stuff like "There's a new Big Red in the Big 12 and it isn't Nebraska". I bet that got under some of the fuskers' skins. Too bad we couldn't sustain the momentum we had that year..

I'd hope he's doing our games since, you know, ESPN pays him to call Big 12 games.

Jfc...thanks for making my point for me...my god there are some really stupid people on this site

this guy gets it...you want musberger doing as many games as possible...there is a reason he rarely does ISU games..and that reason is we sucked for the last 10 years in everything...ever notice we start winning games and musberger starts getting assigned to our games? It's because he is the man, and does the best games

I, for one, love Musberger. Sure he doesn't have a ton of basketball insight, but that is why Fran is there. Plus, playing the Musberger drinking game is a ton of fun!

Anyone else notice how he immediately noted when the teams hit 160 (the over/under)? Classic Musberger.

That's funny. When he mentioned it I could tell he had been waiting for that point, but didn't know why.

If Brent Musberger saying "You are looking live at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, IA" doesn't give you chills, then you have no soul.

As long as Fran is next him (and correcting him) Brent is kind of like your grandpa who is up there in years and had to many Old Fashions on the holiday and is telling you about the good old days and you kids now a days don't understand how good you have it.
