We hit Jamaic shortly after 9/11...Christmas time actually. We scored a great deal on the trip. On the downside the resort was a ghost town and there wasn't much "scenery"...other than blue water and sand.

You could always walk the beach, or get a land tour. We didn't make it to Ocho Rijos, but there's a waterfall there.

Red Stripe wasn't too bad down in Jamaica. I tried it here as an import and that was kind of a mistake

Sitting in shipping crates is not good for beer, it tastes terrible in the states, but really good down here.

Speaking of Brian, our boat took us on a short tour of the beach. I thought this might be were Brian's staying:

We took some hobie cats out today, and I saw that place. That is beaches, the family resort next door.

Looks like couples swept away next door. Was there last winter. Lots and lots of surgically enhances Euro boobs. They like to show them off too. The wife and I sat on the South end of the beach all week by the last bar. Great place.

The Dunn's River Waterfalls is really neat and worth climbing, not watching. Do it. Don't chicken out. One word of caution, do not get friendly with the locals who are taping or taking pictures. They are of course looking to sell you videos and they get really bothered when you tell them no. The rest of Ocho Rios was a lot of poverty.

Wow it sucked getting off that plane last night! 85 to 3 degrees in just a few hours.

Welcome back. Now the coaching search can begin.

I sat next to Chris Hassell from Ch13 on the plane, as soon as he saw my hat, he asked if I had been following the ISU news. I said I was trying to not think about it.

And I'm back! Great trip. Little windy but the 85 degree weather is offically missed. Of course while I was down there I saw on ESPN scroll of Chizik to Auburn. That's when I went to the lobby to jump online and found out the internet was down for the day. That turned into 3 days!

Oh well, I really didn't care too much! The drinks were too good!
