Baylor has two commits for the 2017 class. Had 6, which is pretty weak itself, and have lost 4 since the Briles firing. Bruce Feldman says there is plenty of buzz going around that the remaining two recruits want out as well.

It'd be pretty wild to see a P5 school with zero commits at this stage in the process.

figured I'd post this here:

while legally, I would absolutely agree with him that he shouldn't be arrested for no evidence, unfortunately for him playing college football is not a right and Baylor absolutely should be cleaning house of any whiff of misconduct.

The bruden of proof is not on the university like it is in a trial. They are in the game of public opinion and perception. If there is an accusation that tarnishes that perception then the school has to remove him. It doesn't matter if he's guilty, innocent, or even charged. He put himself in the position to put the school he represents in a bad light.

More like America Gon America, this player was out of line but so was the person who tweeted directly at him, after (regardless of what the situation is) his HC, that he respects and cares about was fired. It's easy for us to sit here and judge everyone at Baylor but its a much different situation for the players. These are people they care about, people they have been through battles with, basically their family. It was totally out of line to tweet this directly to a player. It's a low life move, at a very inappropriate time, its tough to expect a college kid going through a life altering situation to respond respectfully when someone is purposely attacking them.
I'd argue he probably can't handle twitter then.

I'm more shocked that Grobe appears to be Briles 2.0, "If he just leaves on his own the investigations will stop". Like the coach says that total BS both for the player and the alleged victim. If the player leaves on his own and the investigations stop and the alleged victim is really a victim that's a pretty ****** thing she won't get justice.
