An appeal was submitted this summer over Palo’s reinstatement. The original decision was overturned and because Palo violated the student-code of conduct he can no longer be part of the men’s basketball team, according to the press release.

Men

Damn.

So much for me saying yesterday he's earned the right to start. What do I know anyway.

so he's innocent but still gets kicked off the team? Makes sense.Something is going on behind the scenes regarding the case then.

Damn, I really feel sorry for Bubu. I would think this came from above the head coach.

Either way, I don't think this is something that is devastating unless Kane were to get injured. Man-Man and Naz likely will benefit from it, which could end up being a blessing in disguise.

It will save about 4,000 threads from degenerating off topic into pro-Bubu vs anti-Bubu.

Some dope probably didn't like it that he was let back on the team, that person appealed it and it was overturned.

this is kind of disappointing that's for sure. I dont know enough about ISU student policy but why would someone appeal whether someone can play with a ball? Or is he booted from campus completely?

That definitely sucks. From all accounts Bubu was making real strides in the offseason. Plus he was poised to be one of our better defenders. The defense he would have provided in Babb's absence will be the real loss.
