The first pick was a good play by NDSU. One guy barely got a finger on the ball and it led to an interception.

I still say the second one is 100% on Lazard. Tried playing superstar instead of simply catching the ball.

That ball was like 3 feet behind him. It was either try and catch it with 1 hand or let it sail into the sideline. Had he not attempted to catch it we'd be calling him lazy.

And you're wrong. Both were bad throws and both were on Sam. But anyway, I'm done talking about the quarterback situation in this thread. This thread is about Bundrage and I shouldn't have brought it up.

You're so wrong. The first one was on Sam because he threw it low and allowed a defender to deflect it, but it wasn't a horrid pass by any means, and if he completes it, huge gain. I would give more credit to NDSU for that pick then I would blame on SR. The second one was completely, 100% on Lazard, and that cannot even be debated.

The interception sucked but I don't blame Lazard. If he would have made the one handed catch or a tip and catch everyone would be saying how amazing he is. How many times have you seen other players do it or try it and it doesn't get picked off. It was just a break that didn't go our way. I'm much more upset with the play of the oline and the entire defense. That's what lost the game.

The interception is not what cost us the game at all, but it was Lazards fault.

Will he be able to do a medical redshirt and not lose a years eligibility

Don't know, nobody even asked the question. We have a media room that must have pre scripted questions..God forbid you actually think of a question on the fly.

Are people really getting this bent out of shape over one fluke play? You've got to be kidding me. It was one play.

Confirmed from press conference: Bundrage out for the season.

THAT really blows but we're lucky to have Montgomery, who could now become a big part of our offense a lot sooner. Still think he's the receiver that could be the biggest difference maker in our offense.

I feel bad for our team but worse for Quenton. Hope he comes back strong for a senior campaign and gets a look in the NFL.

People realize that Montgomery doesn't play the same WR position as QB right?

Montgomery is a deep threat and If the staff doesn't find a way to use Montgomery extensively, especially after losing our best deep threat in Bundrage, then that will be another head scratcher.

I think what people are arguing about is so many posters are saying it was Sam's fault, when in reality, the ball should've been caught.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of biased eyes that think because Lazard is a 4 star recruit that chose us over ND he can't do anything wrong. But he's human, and he will make mistakes, and that interception was 100% on him. Ask the unbiased commentators on FS1. Ask me, a die hard Cyclone fan who predicted NDSU to win (only by 3, though) because I'm not blind when it comes to analyzing Cyclone football.
