Those reactions! Our guys together looking back up the court after the thunder thrown down reminded me of this.

What makes this dunk even more impressive is that earlier in the season he couldn't even "jump over a can of tuna"

Royce had a sweet dunk against TTech where he dribbled between the defender's leg while enroute to the rim. Can't seem to find it right off hand

Something I don't see talked about is the lob from Naz. From way outside the 3pt line (his normal shooting location) and 100% accurate. While moving and having a defender coming at him. Really felt that was spectacular on his part too.

Great time in the game for this as WVU was making their run, this shut the door on that, completely deflated their efforts.

Being at the game and around WVU fans just made it that much better.

One thing that I've noticed over the last several games is that they seem to be dunking it more. Its a part of our offense that is getting a lot better. Bowie had several against Oklahoma State. And Bowie's throw to Young in the West Virginia was super impressive (and improbable).

The more I look at this play, I dont think Burton makes the dunk if he is right handed. The defender was playing the other hand at first, and had to correct. Still an amazing play.

If you look closely the defender also got his fingers bent backwards pretty far in the block attempt. He's gotta be feeling that today.

I'll catch hell for this and probably get banned from CF, but while I thought it was an awesome dunk, I certainly don't think it was one of the greatest in ISU history (though I'd guess it was a Rahshon Clark dunk). I don't think I could come up with what i think is the greatest, but while a great dunk, there wasn't any time I thought "oh my god, I just witnessed one of the greatest dunks in ISU history."

FWIW, I also don't think the Fizer dunk over Mihms was anything earth shattering.

I agree with you on the Fizer dunk which is what leads me to believe the Burton was the best mostly from a game/moment/exposure standpoint.

If we're basing it more on game/moment/exposure than the actual dunk, I'd say Royce against UCONN was bigger in all of those other than moment, and was a better dunk itself.

Having been about 10 rows from the Fizer/Mihm dunk, it was a time & place thing. The ISU team was still being disrespected, and Fizer in particular, in the national media. There seemed to be constant stories about Mihm as player of the year and Texas as the BigXII best. And Fizer destroyed both of those with one dunk.

I was sitting even with basket probably 5 rows behind you. It was a damn nice dunk....
