Info from InBev source: all Budweiser products are made from rice. all Busch products are made from corn. Busch was originally produced with the idea that it would be marketed as a premium product but was priced below the price of Bud when first marketed. It surprisingly sold so well as a cheaper alternative than Bud that AB decided to market it as a cheaper beer. But it was developed as a higher end beer and remains the only beer that is made from corn in the Budweiser family.

Nope. I'm am a self declared beer snob, but it's by no means an attention grab and not nearly an attempt to be cool, so watch the generalizations. I drink craft beer because, guess what, I LIKE it. I don't like all styles, but prefer an IPA or a barrel aged stout because I LIKE them. I don't go around bragging out about it though, or post on message boards about how those who drink Busch Light are lowlifes because they don't drink craft beer. Get a grip man. It's a matter of taste and that's all.

Minus the rice - corn info, exactly what Bud rep said 25 years ago. Originally developed as a premium brand but did't want to cannibalize Michelob and brisk sales due low price point kept in the cheap beer category.

I drink Busch Light, Bud Light, and Mich Ultra. Nothing else. I know they are lower priced. They taste good to me, every bar has them. Im just glad I never got into this expensive beer thing that is popular now. I still can stand Natty Light or PBR.

I’ll drink Busch Light all the time during early season tailgates, and I’m a craft beer guy.

I drink it then not because it’s this amazing beer, it’s because it’s light and goes down easy. Perfect tailgating beer.

I don't drink anymore but I think all light beers taste like **** except for ones made by Miller. They at least resemble a heavy beer. Busch Light tastes like piss.
