I'm going to give a shout out to Niang. What he did on offense in those last minutes is nothing short of legendary. Three possessions. Three isos. Three buckets.
His 8 assists were pretty huge as well. Might've been the quietest 8 ever, but I don't know if we appreciate his passing enough.

Still the stat line of the night is 7 MN, 1 PT, 2 RB... 1 SUPER HUGE MEGA FREAKIN' BIG BLOCK!

Worth noting, how much will that hostile away experience help for playing at say the Phog? If we can escape Provo with a W...leaving the Phog with a W doesn't seem too much of a reach.

Atmosphere-wise maybe, but talent-wise, BYU is no KU.

My take on Kane. He was going for the hard foul, but drago didn't go up immediately. This threw him off so he just reached forward to foul. Unfortunately for Kane, Dragos eyeball was the first thing he hit. Not a big deal it wasn't on purpose just a really weird set of circumstances.

It's assanine to think Kane did that on purpose, not at that point in the game

Judgement should be withheld on Kane's intent until we get an expert opinion. Does anyone know how to contact Ric Flair? He'd figure it out four us.

Not a hightlight on Sports Center, are you kidding me??? Instead lets replay this A-Rod ******** over and over. The dude is a lier and a cheater, yet we still listen to him over real news all night.

It's only the first 15 minutes. I didn't expect a game with a borderline top 25 team vs an unranked team to get into the first quarter of the show anyway, especially with both of the ESPN NBA games tonight being thrillers and a huge MLB trade.

I'll be honest, I couldn't watch most of the game (okay, I was also at a rehearsal, in the booth, but I had it streaming on the computer). When we started to fall behind I'd just bring up a tab that had the score but no video, when we got back into the game, I'd bring back the stream. That must have happened around 10 times. The killer was when I started watching again just before Kane poked Drago's eyes out. Then Ejim fouls out and I figure I'm sending bad mojo to the team. Shut down the feed, wait to get home to check the final score, and BAM!
I'm sorry I missed the end, but I guess what I'm saying is that you can thank me for the victory! Unfortunately I will be forced to watch much less basketball for the rest of the season...

I didn't want to buy into the 2000 comparisons, but I think the mental toughness this young team has shown so far is similar. Winning an ugly game like this goes miles in March.

Thomas and Morris definitely looked like freshman at the end of the game. Glad we held on and hopefully the experience in a tight game with a hostile crowd will help them to mature quickly. We'll need both of them at times to play better in crunch time during conference play. Endozie, you the man!
