Lol, you literally have " Mustang" in your username and this is the first time you've ever sped in your life?
I'm not buying your story.
Schools have these things called "mascots".

Could you claim double jeopardy as the first ticket had not arrived yet to provide correction before the second incident? Otherwise, what's to prevent a town from putting a camera every 100 feet and hitting you for a ticket when you don't slow down? Might not get out of all of them, but you might get one or two thrown out if they all happened on the same day.
I know some people in CR who, when they first turned the cameras on, didn’t pay any attention and kept speeding through the cameras. They were all surprised Pikachu when they got a series of tickets in the mail over several days …
Plus in CR you have to be going 12 over the limit (so 67) through the downtown S-curve to get a ticket. I don’t have any sympathy for those people.
They don’t count as moving violations, they don’t go on your driving record, they can’t be reported to insurance. But the company that runs the cameras can and will send them to collections, I think they can ding your credit rating, and the state can take the fines out of income tax refunds or other money you might have coming from state government.
May not let you renew your license plates. Had to prove a parking ticket in DM was paid to renew once. And I don’t live in Polk CountyJust pay it. Not worth the credit hit when they turn it over to collections.
They might send you a picture of handcuffs... but mean it.I would send them a picture of money
How about stop breaking the law
Its not just small jurisdictions, Chicago has speed cameras and red lights cameras all over. Last Spring they dropped the ticket line to 6mph over as getting a ticket. 6-10 mph over is $35. 10+mph over is $100. The first 2 months it went into effect 322,000+ people got a ticket for going 6-10 over. (I was one of them lol) That additional $11.3 million in those 2 months won’t even make a dent in funding their pension debt. This is just a revenue generator for small jurisdictions. Vote out the county supervisors who approve the government over-reach.

A lawyer over traffic tickets? Lol, cmon man, courts are already backed up as is.Contact an attorney ASAP. It’s your right to fight this as you should.
Don’t pay until your lawyer and the prosecutor discuss.
They were smart and put the cameras on streets were traffic moves fairly quickly and doesn’t get backed up often. They are mainly on 4 lane roads with speed limits 30-35 mph, in outlying areas away from the cluster of downtown streets.I'm impressed traffic was moving swiftly enough for that to be an issue

So in Howard County Iowa...the **** hole of the state I get two camera tickets both for going 41 in a 30. $125 each. Anyone get these types of tickets? I got one in Cedar Rapids a few years ago and never paid it, nothing ever happened.
As a side note I got a real speeding ticket in Howard county the night of one of the camera tickets...so 3 ******* tickets in two days from this place! Before I get the whole "slow down *******" speech I was driving my wife up to Mayo for Cancer treatment and I've not had more than 3 tickets in my life, I'm not a speeder. I can't help but feel going 11 over and racking up $375 in tickets (at a time I simply can't afford them) is just burning me up. This county and town of Chester is an absolute speed trap, it's disgracefull.
If I just ignore them (I will pay the real ticket obviously) anyone have any thoughts?
