Can anyone recommend an AM radio headset so I can listen to games while mowing?

My van gets 540 AM from Ft. Dodge all the way in Topeka. I need a headset that does the same.

Yes...I use one from Mills fleet farm that stops all outside noise with an AM Fm radio in it. I actually take it to games too. (I assume any farm store has them) The headset really stops the noise. Highly recommended.

Try Peltor Worktunes....I bought this set for the Newton Speedway, excellent noise reduction.

car radios just seem to be more powerful than most other radios, don't know if it's the outside antenna or what it is. But be aware on most other radios, the AM antenna is built right into the receiver and i'm guessing you're going to get a ton of bleedover on the 540 frequency from WIBW (AM 580).

Case in point for myself, I can get KFAB (AM 1110) loud and clear on my car radio and on every radio that I have in the house, no matter how I rotate the radio to get good reception, I get a ton of bleedover from WHO & KWKY.

Topeka, KS? As far as I know, no portable radio short of the GE Super Radio has the sensitivity to receive any station in Iowa from that distance with the exception of WHO-AM of course.

During the day I'd certainly buy it, 540 puts out some strong signal that is heavily oriented towards the south as well(at night living 15 miles to the north my signal is terrible). I know according to local lore, 540 AM is a Canadian clear channel station and thats why the signal is both oriented towards the south and it powers down to a tiny wattage at night.
