Pretty good list of past champions....I think this is a GREAT event for ISU to be in. Sprint Center is an easy travel for ISU fans on the Monday/Tuesday before Turkey Day

Just a four team field? Was hoping for a bigger tournament... Coach Hoiberg also mentioned a possible major D1 opponent next season and it would be a home and home series. To the caliber of a Michigan.

I'lll def go to that! Do they know what the rest of the field looks like?
Hoiberg also said they are close to scheduling another marque opponent to do a home and home with, and also said they have their 2015 "multi-team tournament set", although he did not reveal either.
Awesome news! I really hope we get a home-and-home with someone like Marquette, Indiana (might be a stretch), Mizzou (would love to see the old Big 8 teams come back), etc.
However, I may be most excited about the prospect of the 2015 Tournament. I hope we get in the most high profile of all - the Maui Invitational. It's always got a stacked field. However, it's probably unlikely given the trip to Hawaii this year. Old Spice Classic seems to be a good tournament, or the preseason NIT.
