Hopefully it won't be true after this year but we haven't played well at the Sprint Center so I don't really like this idea.

Looking at this year's field it was decent. BYU, Texas, DePaul, Wichita State.

I think it will likely be better next year and we will have a pretty decent homecourt advantage with the way ISU travels to KC.

Hoiberg also said they are close to scheduling another marque opponent to do a home and home with, and also said they have their 2015 "multi-team tournament set", although he did not reveal either.

Just a four team field? Was hoping for a bigger tournament... Coach Hoiberg also mentioned a possible major D1 opponent next season and it would be a home and home series. To the caliber of a Michigan.

Two Games Are Considerably Less Strenuous Than 3 Or More. And Most likely Both Games Will Be Against Very Good Competition.

ISU is probably one of the host schools, which means they will play two games at home before going to Kansas City. So technically, there are 12 schools in the tournament.

I believe there will be two other "tournament" games against smaller schools at Hilton. Most of these tournaments make sure you get the full four game exception.

Awesome news! I really hope we get a home-and-home with someone like Marquette, Indiana (might be a stretch), Mizzou (would love to see the old Big 8 teams come back), etc.

However, I may be most excited about the prospect of the 2015 Tournament. I hope we get in the most high profile of all - the Maui Invitational. It's always got a stacked field. However, it's probably unlikely given the trip to Hawaii this year. Old Spice Classic seems to be a good tournament, or the preseason NIT.

2015 Maui is already chosen. Kansas next year, Kansas State the year after it looks like or vice versa

It'd be cool if Creighton was in the CBE next year as well. Get a nice environment going for that game down in KC.
