It's part of knowing that anything can happen. I can perfectly relate to him. I know he's confident he'll get to the NBA, but it's a way of saying "hey, who knows?"

Yea, I get what you're saying and what he's saying. But I would've thought he would've been a lot more confident.

What a stupid question btw: "What's next?"

Good luck to you Royce! You were a great Cyclone! I am so glad that you got the most out of being at a great school in Iowa State University and the community inspired you. That's what being in Ames is all about! Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

WTF, u are like the 50th person on here ive seen that thinks royce's stock cant go higher. Are you serious with that BS? GTFO!
His stock will go higher by draft time. He is a seven tool player: dribbles, passes,
rebounds, blocks shots, leads in steals, shoots, and leads to help others.

Sounds like he will be a great NBA asset.

I don't think I've ever seen someone less thrilled to make that sort of announcement.

It was almost like he disliked the NCAA more than he looks forward to the NBA.

I agree. I think his words were, "Its been decided, I will not return to ISU next year."

At the same time, it seemed clear to me as he was the best player on the floor most ever game, but I highly doubt this was an easy decision for RW to make. As much as we throw around the word guarantee with draft postioning and contracts, there are no guarantees. It appears Royce is conscious of that and that makes me happy. He will succeed, and really thats all that matters.

I honest to god have no idea what to do with myself right now. I am going to miss seeing him in Cardinal and Gold. It was true when I say it, I feel like I was just dumped. Not in a hard way, but in a sweet way. Better things a head for this kid. Great Head, Great Game, I wish him the best in everything he does.

totally understand why he is leaveing.. but he wont be that big of a deal in the nba kinda like beasley

Beasley was the #2 pick in the draft. He's a good player, but he underperformed in relation to when he was selected. The bar won't be set quite so high for RW.

Also, Debbie Downer award to you. I've said it before, but it fits again: bitterness is the hallmark of douchebaggery.

Right now Beasley has turf toe. Wes Johnson and he are each worth 18 fantasy points a game. I like my fantasy players to have a 20 fantasy point average at least.
