CF Nutcups

have you ever tripped while walking? Did you get up ****** off and shove the next guy you saw or did you laugh it off because it wasn't the end of the world? Its not celebrating failure if you laugh.

I made a t-shirt of the event and wore it around town to commemorate it. That way I can perpetuate the idea of me being a huge klutz, deservedly or not.

Is this thread real life? Some people are so serious...

The nut cup is not to commemorate the UAB game. It will have no mention of that game on, or in, the cup.

Dude, these are nuts cups. Do you think people are going to be wearing these things while they are at Jordan Creek Mall just to show off all of ISU's failures?

No it will celebrate all of these great events we are so proud of:

UAB game
Hampton Game
Niang broken foot
LE debacle
Missouri OT FB choke to win North

What other nut kicks am I missing? What a great badge of honor. The Cubs of college sports.

Is that the fancy mall? I'd probably only wear mine at Valley West or Merle Hay.

The Texas football game from 2013 immediately comes to mind. So does Kansas football in 2005 that cost ISU a spot in the Big 12 title game. Oh, what about the botched 2-point conversion against Nebraska in 2010?

The nut cup isn't "celebrating" any of Iowa State's past failures.

Example of how I would use my nut cup (remember this is all for fun):
Iowa State is beating KSTATE all game in football. With 3 minutes to go in the game Kstate is driving down the field w/ the potential to take the lead (sound familiar?). I'm at home w/ my buddies watching the game (game is obviously in Manhattan). I go grab my CF nut cup and cover the ole boys before they get another kick in the junk in the case KSU scores and we lose. Hell, I might even tweet a picture of me with the nut cup covering the boys.

If you don't share the humor in that, I get it. Everyone deals with sports in a different way, but we aren't looking to "celebrate" any ISU loss.

I think I would use mine in like, "knock on wood" scenarios.

Oh my dad just said we've got this one in the bag! Knock on my CF Nut Cup.

When Harrison Barnes held his press conference, my dad walked in with 2 bowls. He handed me one and said, "here you go son, protect the boys as they are about to get kicked."

I laughed (and cried).

One sure thing, we would be the only fan base to ever have them. Probably won't catch on anywhere else.

Wait, this wasn't the plan? I thought it was gonna be a meetup or something. Whew...glad I learned this now and not later.

Got it, kind of like some fans think putting a bag over their head while in the stadium is hilarious.

Do I plan to purchase a nut cup? No. Do I think the idea's a little silly? Yes. Do I feel that the nut cups celebrate losing? No. Do I think Incyte's reaction is ridiculous? Yes. Do I think Fred Hoiberg would endorse the nut cups? No. Do I like to ask and then answer my own questions? Yes.
