Georgia is not going to jump us. We jumped teams that hadn’t proven anything including Georgia. Their game today is probably their second best win after beating Auburn.
Hope you’re right.

If ND beats Clemson again, how do you put them in? I’m not saying we are better than Clemson by any means but they would have had two chances to prove they should be in and lost both.

Has one team ever lost to another 3 times in one season?

Are we going to have to start worrying about USC getting into the CFP conversation?
Yes. Don't be surprised if USC makes a big jump this week. It's not justified, but that's a big-name program that will start getting some traction simply because they are undefeated. Just you watch how far the jump should they win the Pac-12 and finished undefeated. It will be the safety net for the committee if Ohio State somehow loses to NW or Clemson loses to ND.

I don't think so. They are going to barely beat a bad UCLA team, barely beat a BAD Arizona team (34-30), barely beat a bad Arizona State team (28-27). There is a reason they are only #15. Next they will play Washington (or Oregon if Wash. still with Covid).

I do think USC is 9 or 10 this Tuesday.

Remind me who OSU has played this year? Yeah, they beat an overrated Indiana team and destroyed everyone else, but the point is USC is a brand name team from a conference that the national media would like to go out of their way to prop up.

Just beat OU next week and let the rest of the games play out and see where we stand. Will root for Clemson to lose to Notre Dame as that will eliminate another team. Would love to see Northwestern beat tOSU too.

Right now, USC is not NEARLY the brand that OSU is. Did you hear Barta talking Tuesday? He was talking about OSU's "stars". I don't think OSU deserves to be at 4 and they haven't beat ****, but they are a much bigger brand right now than USC.

With Florida losing, I feel really good about our chances of making a NY6 bowl, even if we lose to Oklahoma

Never said they're a bigger name than or that they'd jump OSU. But there are plenty of teams in the CFP rankings ahead of them that they are a bigger brand name - including us.

I get the opposite impression- the national media generally actively ignore the pac 12. Neither OSU or USC really deserve to be in, USC won't get the help OSU is.

Completely agree. Not sure what a Florida win next week means, but aside from an upset like that I think we're in a NY6 even with a loss to OU.
