CGC Spring Game Tailgate

Gridiron board member here. Thank you to all who attended the Gridiron Club tailgate before the Spring Game yesterday. For anyone who was shut out from lunch due to numbers, my apologies. We had absolutely no good way to project numbers so we added 20% to the biggest turnout we have had. That number was exceeded pretty early on, which is a great problem to have. The excitement for this program is phenomenal!

At the risk of breaking the boards: for anyone who attended our tailgate, please provide any feedback for what you think we could improve in the future. Feel free to post here or PM me. While we may not implement all suggested changes, we will certainly entertain them. We are always looking for ways to do things better as long as they are in-line with the club's mission to raise funds in connection within the university's and NCAA's rules for football-related expenses which are not part of the department budgeting.

Ate the meal, it was very good. Perhaps more tables for people to sit, more trash cans, and an audio system so when coach Campbell speaks we can hear him.

We ate there. Thanks to the CGC for doing it. More tables would have been nice. Tough to plan for a event like that though. If the weather would have been crappy there would have been a lot of food left over.

My suggestion is to use one of the east parking lots and have entry to the stadium from the east gate. Got pretty congested with the CGC, Cy's Locker Room and the line to the game. Overall, an awesome day.
