Haven't seen anything concrete, just wondering if anyone has any inside source or knowledge of his chances of playing Saturday?

I guess it depends on the nature of the injury. If it's 100% healed and there's no chance of aggravating it then give him the green light so he can work back into the flow of things.

But I'm betting we don't see LW on the court until after Christmas. No insider info; just a hunch that they're going to err on the side of caution considering his future and how important he is to this season.

Prohm won't risk aggravation of either LW or SY injuries for any game. That said until they take contact not eve CSP probably knows if they'll play vs Drake.
I believe both have been running and doing some activities with trainers, if they get through practices the rest of the week with no setbacks and cleared by the medical staff I am sure we'll see them. Both have to be itching to be on the court and want to get integrated into this fun team as soon as they can.

I don't think there's any inside info to be had. They'll practice Wednesday and Thursday like Prohm said and then the medical staff will make a decision on their availability for Saturday based on how that goes.

If they practice at a high level then there is no reason not to play them. They are either ready or they are not ready. How much they play would probably depend on the circumstances of the game.

On the post game show last night Prohm mentioned they'd practice Wednesday (as has been said already). He also did mention that he though Lindell was a little a head of Solomon due to the nature of the different injuries. So if one of them were ready for spot minutes on Saturday, it sounds like it'd be Wigginton. With that being said, I'd agree with others that we likely don't see either until Eastern Illinois on the 21st. I think there is an outside chance that Lindell might get in some if we were up big on Drake at the end of the game.

If they are good for full speed practice Wednesday I would like to see them get a few minutes Saturday to at least shake the cobwebs, then increase the minutes against EIU so that they are ready to go full speed in the conference opener.

Prohm said he would only have them practicing in half court sets to start this week so I don't think that will lend itself to them practicing at a high level. When he discloses (if it's something he'll bother to disclose) that they're running the court effectively, I'd expect to start seeing some spot minutes. Running half court sets sounds to me like they're still a little ways off.

I'd like to see him sit out vs Drake. Don't need to be going into an in-state rivalry game on 2-3 days of practice. Allow him a full week of 100% practice next week, then work him into the rotation vs EIU. Then he gets almost 2 full weeks to prepare for Big 12 vs Okie St. Knock off some more rust, then be ready to go when we host KU.

Prohm also said that Weds both will only be doing half court practice. Since they won't be going full court I doubt you will see either vs. Drake.

These freshman sometimes makes me forget we have NBA talent on IR. What a special group.

Man, even just the thought of Wigginton being back makes me excited.
