Plenty of posts making the leap from practice gym fun to being an impact player next season. He might be, sure hope so. But it won't have anything to do with what the video shows. I'd like to see some video of him knocking down jumpers as he is a 39 percent career shooter. What can I say, I am old fashioned.

No one said he would be an impact player because of his dunking ability.

39% career from the field, but 44% from 2 and 35% from 3.

His last year at MSU he was 43% from the field, 39.8% from 3 and 46.8% from 2. I'd say he's trending up.

Then go find that video of him shooting and post it if you want to see it.

You're not being old fashioned, you're being a jerk. Old fashioned or not, the video is fun to watch.

Fun to watch, but guys who can do that are a dime a dozen and it has nothing to do with actual game day performance. ISU doesn't need "sick dunks." It's needs solid, all-around play.

Do you think the Kentucky's, North Carolina's, Uconn's of the world (along with the vast majority of Sweet 16 caliber teams from the past 20 years) have some players that can produce "sick dunks"?

"Sick dunks" and great all-around play are not mutually exclusive.

Not old fashioned enough...please go back to the "before typing" era so we don't have to read your posts.

Is this your job as a moderator? To insult the clientele. Well done. Chris, give this one a bonus.

He already did. How do you think I got over 500 million credits?

Didn't realize you would be insulted by me calling you a debbie downer.

I think most make the leap that he is an impact player because he was a 4-star guy recruited by Michigan State, and Coach Lutz claims that he is one of the most talented players he's ever coached. What a ridiculous point to make in the thread, seriously.

I love it that people are completely sleeping on the contribution that Booker will make next year. Freed from the molasses system at his previous school and paired with a great passing frontline player in Royce White, he'll do great things for next years team.

I hope your right about Booker. I don't see many people talk about him and I thought I saw a post a while back that said he was not as motivated and hard working as he should be.

I've heard that Booker and Babb will be good players for us next year and will contribute in a big way. Based on the couple good sources that I've heard from, our 2 best players next year will be RW and Allen, without question.

The next tier will be Booker, Babb, Scotty, Ejim and Godfrey.

Obviously that doesn't take into account McGee and Sledge, which could very well end up being good contributors too. Railey of course could take a big jump too, but it might be another year before he really steps into a big role.

are you lenny52/25ynnel? your posts are eerily similar in style. the reason i ask is because they are both on my ignore, and if you are indeed the same poster, i will have to add you as well.

i just like how these posts are mainly arguing who is the best player on our team or who is going to make the biggest impact

much nicer than reading posts about who sucks

Sounds like Royce needs to work on his footwork a bit on the offensive end. At potentially 270 though, a lot rebounds should come his way.

Chris Allen for the first time since high school is being looked at as the main scorer. This being his 5th year, and having something to prove (NBA), he should be pretty special.
