I know there has been a lot of talk for all Big 12 defensive team or Big 12 defender of the year. Is there any chance he could become a defensive All-American?

Don't know about all-american, but definitely all Big XII for sure. Love his game, he really hustles and knows how to position himself on defense.

I loved how after he missed those 2 wide open 3's on the same possession he went back and d'ed up hard.

Yeah I wasn't sure...I feel like he should at least be in the conversation! I also don't know how many teams they do for defensive or if they do honorable mention.

Honestly he is about as good a defensive player as you are going to see on the D1 level. Big, strong, long kind, moves his feet well. Probably not enough hype this year, but next year defiantly a chance.

Heard on the post game he had like 24 fouls in 20 games this year. That is getting it done.

He's pretty good, but I wouldn't go that far.

Only 24 in 20 games? ****, he needs to give some more! Body up, lay a guy out once in awhile!

Name a better perimeter defender.

As far as defense goes the Big 12 is really Babb, Withey, and everyone else. Easily the best perimeter and interior defenders in the league.

Michael Dixon
To name a few.

Sorry Man, but:

No
No
No...and
No

Babb is a better defender those guys. Look at the season averages of these players and how they've performed against Babb:

J'Covan Brown (2nd game Allen had him in game 1)
Rodney McGruder
Travis Releford
Marcus Denmon
Stephen Pledger
LeBryan Nash (game 1)
Keiton Pave (game 2)
Elston Turner

EDIT: There is only one of those guys you can compare "apples to apples" to Babb and that's Dixon. Dixon isn't even close.
