I see a great potential way to bring her back in season 5 if the season 4 finale plays out the way i think it does based on a few sneak peak videos that came out:

VIDEO: Three Chuck Season Finale Sneak Peeks (SPOILERS!) | ChuckTV.net : The fansite for the NBC series, Chuck

And yeah, ive wanted to see Jill back for awhile.

Also.. they really blew the whole Hannah storyline.

I think the Hannah storyline (and the last two seasons in general) would have been much better if the writers had any idea how many episodes each season was actually going to be. Mid-season in 3 and 4 there were quick wrapups of stuff that wouldn't have been needed if the network had just ordered a full season from the beginning. If NBC would just decide one way or the other, that would help.

That doesnt hurt, that's for sure. Alex isnt half bad either.

Put Ellie in that mix too.

Finally watched the finale last night. Anyone else think that this episode with a rewrite of the last five minutes would have actually been a good series finale? It just seems like they're reaching now.

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet:

SPOILERS

It would have been a good ending to have Chuck lose the intersect, save Sarah, have them get fired from the CIA, and then go on to live a normal non-spy life. This whole freelance spy thing and giving Morgan the intersect seems tacked on. Maybe they'll come up with a better ending but I'm not seeing it.

The morgan thing is iffy, depends where they go with it. From interviews after i think we'll find that Morgan cant handle the intersect as well as Chuck can. That'd work well for the series.

I like the freelance spy thing though. It kinda parallels what Orion did. Gonna be interesting to see where they go with the big conspiracy angle.

Yeah. Watched it. One of the few shows I record. I really didn't like how it ended. But, I guess, maybe the point was, in the end, it is as it was in the beginning. I believe you are to assume that, over time, things would progress as they did before and Sara and Chuck would be together?? They ddin't say much about it but Chuck has the "clean" version of the intersect in his head at the end. I think that leaves a lot of questions. Will bad guys still be chasing him? He is obviously still a CIA asset with the computer in his head. Strange ending.

Yeah I just can't figure out why they ended it that way. What were they trying to say? Sarah's character is probably the one that grew the most over the course of the show, and they just took it all away from her. It's like the series was mostly about her instead of Chuck. I thought it was a pretty ballsy way to end it but I don't get the point they were trying to make (if they were trying to make one).

Yeah, thats what makes it not sit well with me. I'm very mixed on the finale. So much i loved (Jeffster doing Take On Me was a great pick!, and i even really liked the beach setting, it was a perfect circle for how Sarah would always find him there, now he found her there) but then some things i really didnt like. The sarah thing of course, but i also felt they wasted chuck getting the intersect back. He gets it back and uses it to.... open a case? Its the finale, he shouldve had at least one last fight scene. They shouldve cut out the 'one last upload' thing, let him get the intersect, let him fight their way out, and then get her memories back with the glasses.

Yes the Jeffster moment was pretty awesome. Morgan also cracked me up with his theory about a magical kiss solving everything. "I know I've been watching a lot of Disney princess movies with Clara lately, but I really think this will work." I thought moving Ellie and Awesome to Chicago was unnecessary though.

The more I think about the ending, it's almost like Chuck telling their story to Sarah is like she's experiencing as an outsider, almost like a viewer who watched the whole series would. Not sure if that has any significance or not with what they were trying to say. There's a pretty good writeup here:

I watched the finale last night and was pretty bummed that it's ending. Glad there was a final Jeffster show.

The finale was pretty bad IMO.

Every 8 seconds Chuck was bawling. There is less crying on Hawk message boards after a beatdown from the Clones than there was on Fridays episode of Chuck.
