Nothing shady about it. Kids a top talent and is free game until he signs the letter of intent.
There is nothing shady about inviting him for a visit. But my comment was about likelihood of getting him into school.

Ohhh gotcha. That wouldn’t surprise me.There is nothing shady about inviting him for a visit. But my comment was about likelihood of getting him into school.
Takes 2-3 weeks now so he could have them back . It very well may not be the issue , may not have signed a NLI , guess we will know at some point.Could he have even gotten he’s ACT scores back yet? I don’t think this is an admission issue ...yet.
Yeah, lot of team guys commenting on his Instagram including Gomez saying "the disrespect" and he told him to shut up, before deleting most all of the negative posts. Carr still staying positive on it, it seemed. And there it is...

Tough to think he stays if ISU guys are already speaking negative to him now. I don't know what all went into getting him here but I wish him luck, hope he comes back.
Highly doubt he is coming backYeah, lot of team guys commenting on his Instagram including Gomez saying "the disrespect" and he told him to shut up, before deleting most all of the negative posts. Carr still staying positive on it, it seemed.

Couldn’t agree more .honestly, good for Gomez and others on the team - they all brought him in like family. It is disrespectful. This wasn’t just a normal commitment then Decommit..
After watching Who’s #1, I personally had a hard time believing he would ever see a college wrestling mat. The kid does Not even speak English! How is he ever going to sit through class and understand anything?
I feel a lot of this stems around his SAT scores and eligibility issues.
On another note, our recruiting has left a lot to be desired when it comes to bringing in top end talent. Aside from Carr, who is a legacy recruit (and Dad came with the package).
Robie and VT are recruiting still, better than ever actually. After watching Who’s #1, I personally had a hard time believing he would ever see a college wrestling mat. The kid does Not even speak English! How is he ever going to sit through class and understand anything?

Couldn't agree more. VT, North Carolina, NC state, Cornell, Oklahoma state, Iowa, Penn state, Ohio state, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Arizona state, Michigan, Missouri. All teams out recruiting Cyclones by a wide margin. Hard to think Metcalf and St. John can carry the load of recruiting along with running practices.Robie and VT are recruiting still, better than ever actually.
Who is the ace recruiter on our staff? Not sure we have one. We haven’t landing any elite recruits on roster besides David and I can’t count that. DSJ isn’t even on social media. Most staffs have a recruiting coordinator and/or Director of Ops who were studs and can help evaluate and what not. Not sure it’s normal to have someone like Robin Wilson on staff..
Take a look at what Caldwell has done at OSU.
You sure about that? I'm not counting him out until he signs with Michigan. I think its down to us and them. It looked like he was at the game do you know for sure he was on another visit?FYI: Facundo is also on another unofficial visit to Michigan today..
from what I’ve heard, expect more bad recruiting news for this staff..
