... I was out in my front yard doing some clean-up and a red SUV with four to six Nebraska fans came speeding down my street (residential side street) honking and yelling. They actually stopped in front of my house long for one of them to give me some kind of a fist pump, honk some more and then sped off.

Who does that? I just stood looking in disbelief at this group of toolbags that must have thought "hey, let's speed around town and act like a bunch of jackholes...."

Good riddance to the bug-eaters, their idiot fans and their psychotic coach......

Next time call the cops and tell them you saw a Red SUV with Nebraska crap all over it driving erratically, that would be a quick way to ensure their joy ride ended early

Their fans should just be glad they escaped with a win. I know that if I were following our team in that same situation I wouldn't be bragging or making a scene, I'd just get in my car and leave, happy that we didn't end up with an L.

But then again, these are the same fans who were strutting around Hickory Park before the game with their chests all puffed out and a look of entitlement. Was really hoping to send them home with their tails between their legs, and damn near did it.

Face it, Husker fans think it is still the 90s. I mean between how they dress, how they cheer, and how they have no class. They think they still are the dominant team they were when rules didn't apply in the 90s and kids from all over the country knew about Husker football.

They are soon going to get a huge dose of reality. Say goodbye to Texas recruits, not to mention, are Pennsylvania, Ohio or Illinois kids really going to pass over closer schools to go be around that Big Red idiocy? Really?

Get ready for a return to option or i-formation football Huskers. That is gonna be all you can run with the recruits you are going to be getting.

I also love the Blackshirts thing. Umm, yeah, you gave up 30 points to a .500 football team. I gotta say that D doesn't miss that Suh guy one bit.

I thought that Crick was supposed to be just as good. Did he even get mentioned much yesterday, at all? What a perfect metaphor for what the Huskers are becoming. All bluster.

Maybe they just figured out that being in a new conference will help them when they suck again, so teams will not be running up the score to get even over past beatdowns. Now the B10 move makes perfect sense.

I will look forward to the Husker Hawkeye matchups next year and on.

One SUV had the window down and had a towel out with a ******* red fan yelling we are the greatest. ISU sucks to a crowd of 30 walkers.

Having a late game ending in the dark and warm air probably had their fans giddy. Frankly it would be hillarious if Turner Gill can beat them next week.

Their team is great only if martinez is playing.

Yeah, Nebraska fans are classless... But the 12 year old-ish ISU fans standing along the walkway where the Huskers entered holding shirts that said Nebraska Swallows are super classy. Some ISU parents are so classy they let their kids go to a game to hold those up to the Husker players and get on TV. Boy if only we could be as classy as you guys.

That is beyond pathetic and i am glad you are raising yourselves some good kids there.

You do realize that 1/3 of your class is from Texas. Good luck with that in the Big 10. Illinois has one recruit from Texas this year, Iowa has two, Northwestern has two, Minnesota has two, Michigan has one, and none of the other schools have any. Texas kids that don't go to Texas or another elite program tend to go to other Big XII schools so their family can watch them play.

I dont get what your trying to say here. Those kids know were going to the big 10 and have still committed. What are you getting at?

Well, see, the ISU fan used logic, so you may have trouble keeping up. Those kids were recruited over the last couple years, while Nebraska was still a member of the Big12. Many of them had already decided on going to Nebraska before the split was even decided.

As years go on, and Nebraska rarely if ever plays any games anywhere close to Texas, those recruits will drop off, as will the connections with Texas HS coaches.

Come back in a couple years and tell us about Nebraska recruiting in Texas after their influence and connections in Texas wane.

My guess? Huskers lose on average at least 50% if not 75% of their recruits from Texas. But hey, we all know Husker fans live in the past anyhow, so they probably won't even notice.
