Texans are notoriously arrogant about being from Texas. Minnesotans are extremely arrogant about being from Minnesota too.

This is true in my experience.

The fish are bigger, the music is better, etc.

I was told once that the black bears are different in temperament between MN ('wilder') and WI (tame) too. Like the boundary makes two different sub species or something.

The Malls are bigger.

The Garrison Keillor-types are more punchable.

The Mary Tylers are more.

The spam is spammier.

Ha! This is literally like the Vikings blog guy called up me to discuss Campbell to the Vikings. I think I could have answered those questions more accurately and my speculation would be more realistic.

Pretty apparent the original source has ZERO inside knowledge. Just throwing crab at the wall. I got a kick how he tried to stick up for his original tweet, but then always added a reason why Campbell to the Vikings might not happen.

But he was very precise in his odds of Cambell to Minnesota:
  1. 10% Chance Minnesota Offers Campbell Job
  2. 40% Chance Campbell Would Accept Job
Is my HS math correct? There is a 4% chance of Campbell to the Vikings? Dude should be a Vegas oddsmaker.

Since this is a pointless thread anyway, I'll chip in....

Garrison took his lumps and disappeared, to his credit I guess. Even some of his "accusers" thought he got a raw deal, IIRC. In the end his trademark show was rebranded with Chris Thile as host (and it was friggin' great while it lasted), but it's still hard to deny Garrison's weekly effect on the live folk/Americana/bluegrass music scene. I miss both shows...
