Hard to believe they lost to 'Cuse but they look legit.

No kidding. They say spread offenses extend the game. It feels like OSU is crushing Wisconsin, but it is still just an 11 pt game. They need to win by 3-4 possessions if they want into the playoffs. This game makes the entire Big 10 look bad. Especially the West and Michigan.
A lot of it has been commercials--shortish possessions in the first half meant lots of breaks.
Would be hard to keep rhythm as a player when every few plays there's a really long break.
That's true. What's better, 3 good wins and 2 bad losses or 0 good wins and 0 bad losses? There's an argument for and against both teams, I don't envy the committee.
No way OSU gets in over Alabama, hopefully blowing this whole thing up. An 8 team playoff with 5 champions and 3 at large would do wonders for stability.

Seeding is actually tough other than Alabama has to be 4 and Clemson shouldn't be worse than 2.
I would think so, but this FOX crew is really pushing the conference champion narrative
An all SEC championship is what killed the BCS. Maybe having it happen again would bring on the 8 team playoff?
I look at it the other way. Seed it so it's a no-SEC bowl game. If you put SEC at 1&4 or 2&3, you're guaranteeing that one of them gets in.
Right. I don't see enough separation between the teams...Georgia did look good today...so did OU.
And if they both win, we're back to the drawing board...what year was that, 2011?

As much as I wouldn't want to watch that game, at least they would have proven that they both belong by beating OU and Clemson.
