I only have this secondhand, but I heard from someone who spoke with Pollard who said that, per ESPN, the choice would be either KU-ISU or WVU-UT.
Funny thing is, I also heard from Pollard that Pauly Rhodes knows how to coach.

Well he did take a team that failed with Chiz and win a Bowl game. Who knows Chiz might have made a bowl game the next year too.. Because improvement happens with exoerience. So hey maybe CPR will look like he knows now to coach again next year with a more experienced team.

*******.

You're correct but ESPN <3 Duke
I don't see how they could do a full telecast of college gameday up until tip at noon. There would be no way to have it on the court since the teams will be warming up so they would have to have the set somewhere else. I doubt this game is an option but who knows..I don't work for ESPN.

I just brought it up because coach K getting his 1000th win would be pretty big............HOWEVER if Duke loses a game between now and Jan 17th, then it would not be his 1000th win.

Take this for what it's worth.. but ESPN's schedule is now showing that the game is at 9pm ET/8pm CST instead of TBD. Cyclones.com has yet to update their schedule.

Here you go...

[h=1][/h] * It appears that most of ESPN's College Gameday basketball schedule, especially the final two weeks, will be flexible selections. Looks like it starts on 1/17. All times Eastern and all of the Gameday games are on ESPN.

  • 1/17: West Virginia at Texas OR Kansas at Iowa St. at 9pm
    • The other game will be shown on ESPN/ESPN2 at 6pm

WVU v. Texas can't be the final choice unless ISU or KU completely screws the pooch between now and then.

Along with the ISU game being updated on espn to 9 pm tip, the WVU vs Texas has also been updated to 6 pm on espn. Based on above information don't winterize the tailgating buses yet.

Now you are talking. Who's up for tailgating? We did last year for the KU basketball game. It was 30+ degrees warmer than for football!
