JT was flat-out tough, and the basketball was like a yo-yo in has hands (before all this palming BS that we see today). He had the intangibles and he led those teams. IMO, ISU may not see another player like him in decades - although I'd love for Colvin to prove that opinion wrong.
I would be overjoyed. However, I don't realistically expect freshmen to do much more than play solid minutes, show a good effort on the floor, and limit mistakes. Very few freshmen will be game changers right away, if for no other reason than they simply aren't used to playing against the caliber of competition you see in the Big 12.
