Conditt Playing Time

Couldn't watch but if it was a thing where Conditt was doing relatively well and the subbing seemed ill timed and unneeded, that's too bad as that's one aspect I'm hoping to see improve.

As has already been said, Jacy Holloway, who was doing color on the radiocast, said multiple times before George was taken out that he was gassed and had given up dunks on the last two times down. And, Jacy was a man of few words on the broadcast, so if he mentioned it, it must have been pretty clear.

Maybe George could have come back in, I don't know, but he wouldn't have been guarding Tinkle when he hit two huge threes, nor would he have he been shooting the three FTs on which TH only made one toward the end. I'm not down on TH, just pointing out the oddity of this complaint. Now, last year against K-St at home, I definitely get the complaint, but it didn't seem to be merited today.

Spin it the positive way --

George had five blocks and the second-highest offensive rating on the team after Haliburton. He had a very good game. Instead of interpreting it as a whiny, "It was a mistake that George did not play more," think of it like, "He is coming on strong. He needs to play more. I am glad the coaching staff and us got to see it, and they will adjust. He might need to work on his conditioning more to play 20+ minutes per night effectively,"

Think of it not as a gripe about the distribution of minutes, but appreciating a developing big man who seems to start to be getting a handle for the college game.

It is next-level obnoxious how full this site is of people that are averse to reason-backed criticism. You can be critical of something while still supporting it. This is a fan site. Fans will question coaching and player decisions. And it’s ok to question people who are critical. But it is so damn pea-brained to mock them as unsupportive, couch coaches, or mark their posts as “dumb”. Argue a point instead of calling people names. We’re (mostly) all here because we love the hell out of our Clones.

I believe you love the Clones but you can't stand Prohm for some reason.

No, it’s because if we had won today, you would have been a ghost. That’s what nullifies your opinions.

and if there is a perfect example of a “pea brained” poster, it’s you.

All for reason backed criticism. As was said earlier in the thread, Conditt got way out of position and allowed two easy baskets late which was really tough to overcome.

honestly a lot of positives to take away from the game.
