Well that was painful to watch. The CFP may not have killed the non-playoff bowl games enthusiasm, but if you are a P5 conference without a chance of making the cfp your conference championship game enthusiasm has been absolutely obliterated.
Had to look it up. Didn't realize it was Cal/Stanford.

Washington is on their way to getting destroyed by most likely Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Take Ohio State on whatever spread Vegas comes up with.

I agree. I’m guessing it has to do with what the networks were willing to give us. Big 12 gets the shaft again. At least we will know the OU vs Texas results while watching the other games to know if we need to cheer one way or the other.
Because Bowlsby is terrible and doesn't stand up for the Big 12 at all. They just tell him that the Big 12 Championship will be played at 11 am, and Bowlsby says.... "Yes sir.".
Playing last night in primetime would be better than playing at 11 am today.
I wonder what the talking heads are going to say about this Big 12 championship game since there seems to be good defense with red zone stops. Will they change their narrative to Big 12 has no offense? Haha
Crazy sequence. Long reception by Lamb only to fumble as he's being tackled. Followed by a safety where Ehlinger had no chance.
OU's defense has a pulse. A score like this would bode well in the committee's eyes you would think.
Sooners should be the Fourth Team. I also think Buckeyes lose today, will be cheering on Northwestern.
As long as OU makes playoffs, I think. Which they should with an Alabama win or Clemson loss
