Let's face it.

Martinez has a sprained knee or whatever it is that he is suffering. If we put pressure on him early and often, there is no way he can produce at 100%. We need to also limit Helu primarily and most importantly because that would open up the passing game and we all know Martinez is not very good at passing the football.

Anytime you play with with a run first 'semi-injured' QB, the gameplan should be to harass him and limit his mobility. I am no coach but it would be nice to hear from you guys what you all think. I really think we can secure a bowl invite tomorrow with a win. The Nebraska-Iowa State rivarly has been lopsided and we can end it strong with beating them both at Lincoln and in Ames back to back years.

Come on Cyclones! Let's get the win and go bowling.

I agree if he is in we will be harassing him. Being a Vikings fan that is what every single team tried to do to Brett Favre at the end of the season, and it did work. If we can pressure him into making bad decisions we won't be getting fumbles, we'll be getting interceptions.

If our defensive front can put pressure on whoever is in the NU backfield, we'll have a good shot in the game.

If Martinez plays our guys on D can't be afraid of roughing him up. Now I am not advocating that they go head hunting Nebraska style or that they try to hurt the kid either. Just saying if they get close to him and have the chance to hit him..... BURY HIS ***!!!!! I want clean hits that are within the rules. No cheap shots. Beat on the kid enough and he will fold.

I would love to see Lattimer make that kid eat some JTS sod.
