Boy, that's gotta make the Jets nervous, cars with 580- and 680-hp? Surprised his contract doesn't limit him to low power 4 cylinder autos! Far less chance of being injured that way.

Really recommend watching this. It's about 40 minutes, but super interesting. There's several posts on here about how we aren't sure how Iowa State is going to make it in this new NIL world. But people like Will are why it is important that we do.
Will is a generational talent, and his story is amazing.
That said, it is hard to watch this and not wish the only thing exceptional about that story was his talent and character.

Will has an incredible story. Even made me tear up a couple of times. We were lucky to have him as a cyclone

Man…inspiring. It also makes me believe even more what a great coach and staff we have at ISU.
I think our coaches learned just as much from Will. Cool story about perseverance.
Very well done. Great story. So many good people came together (coaches, teachers, will himself) to make sure he succeeded.
"Cool piece" is a good way to describe it. It really helped me to know Will McDonald as a person and a player, even though I think there is much more about him to learn. He is a unique player on the field and a unique person off the field.
Perhaps my only disappointment with the film was that it didn't draw attention to the fact that he was held on almost every play!
Watched it last night. Wow what a story and a well-made film. I have a a lot of respect for Will McDonald, he's a great success story. I like how they gave attention and credit to Iowa State's developmental program. Now I'll have to watch the one that they did on Breece Hall.
Yeah, it's clear CMC and staff "practice what they preach" and we continue to get lots of examples of this....and are producing legit talent, too. While the "market" of revenue sharing is now a thing for all, I have faith there are still lots of kids that also want what our staff does for them.
Watched it last night. Well worth the 45 min to sit and learn more about the incredible human Will is.

That was a fantastic watch!! So well done! Found myself getting emotional several times! Will was extremely blessed to have those high school teachers and coaches be so involved in his life and success. Also blessed to have Coach Campbell & Coach Rasheed to help him develop at Iowa State. Will is an incredible person!! Very cool story and makes you proud to be a Cyclone!!
Great story on Will. The Jets will soon see the fortitude in drafting Will in the 1st round. While he did have a good year last year, I think he is just scraping the surface of what he can be and the stats he can put up.
We were fortunate to have Will for 4-5 years at ISU! I remember every time I watched Iowa State play his last 2 years, nearly every other play, it was like, "there's another hold" on Will. The only way the defense could stop him was to hold him or double him. He was a wrecking ball.
