I thought for his first game he didnt do all that bad. I think all of his points came from the line. He of course mad some mistakes but that can be expected. I am looking forward to him being our floor general for the next 2 years.

He made a 3. I believe that was his only FG. He's not going to be a big scoring threat, but it looks like he'll be able to hit a couple of 3's for us and get after it on defense.

He seemed to do okay, although when UC-Rvierside threw a double team on him, he sorta struggled. You could see GMac coaching him on it in timeouts.

Now Wesley Johnson? WOW!! This kid is gonna be a great one!

And how do I know all this from Colorado! Thank ISU athletics for broadcasting the games this weekend free on the web! rock on!

How did he play last night?
Poor, 6 Turnovers, 0 Assts, 1-2 from the field a three, 6-8 from the free throw line..

Looked out of control at times needs to take better care of the basketball..

Then again Mike Taylor his back court mate had 8 turnovers. Can't have 14 turnovers in your starting backcourt..?

The NCAA claimed it was going to start reinforcing palming calls last season...it was pretty prevalent in the non-conference games, but once conference play started, it pretty much went back to normal.

Well it's certainly been evident that they are enforcing it in our nc games so far. I hope it drops off again later in the season. It's always such a judgment call anyway. The only time I think they should call it is if the defender is badly burned on a crossover where the guard clearly carries. Otherwise, cut it out!
