I’d expect the official announcement tomorrow but we’re still going bowling.

December 30th at 3:00pm in Ames at Perfect Games

Not only are we going bowling, we’re getting laser tag too!!

YES! We can go bowling at 4-8! It's fun to watch a game over the Holidays, we need the extra practices. We will be so good........oh wait a minute......

Sitting at 79.

Vandy and Miami getting curbstomped.

Buffalo (5-6) plays Akron next week.

APR order is now: Rice, UNLV, Auburn, Michigan State, Miami.

I'm glad we aren't going to a bowl if your not over .500 you shouldn't go to a bowl. Yeah I'm old.

Then they really wouldn't fill bowls since there's so many .500 teams.

I do think 6 wins/.500 should be the minimum.

Right now, we could have one of those special scrimmages with Nebraska, also at 4-8 I think. Play at a neutral site, like Omaha Central High School field. They would kill us.....by 3 scores.

New Mexico State (5-6) got a waiver; they're also playing Valpo this weekend.

That makes 80.

Buffalo would potentially be 81, and one APR team (Rice) for 82.

Iowa State was second in line behind Rice, right?

Sounds like they would have come up one short anyways.

How the **** did we lose to Tech and Oky State.

ISU was next after Rice, then UNLV (fired coach), Auburn (new coach), and Michigan State.

If Akron beats Buffalo tomorrow, then UNLV would be on the clock.

So, hypothetical, because ISU didn't get to 5-7 but, if it had...

#80 NSMU
#81 OR #82 Rice (ahead of ISU on APR)

Leaves one spot, which comes down to Buffalo losing to Akron.

Akron wins, ISU is #82 and Buffalo is out. Buffalo wins, Buffalo is #81 and Rice is down to #82 and ISU is out.

Right?

A completely moot point, of course, but I was curious.

Yep.

80 - New Mexico State
81 - Buffalo or Rice
82 - Rice or Iowa State

Mildly surprised that NMSU scheduled a 2nd FCS opponent while waiting for a decision on the waiver, which then got approved.
