We obviously won't have the stage like we did on Friday night but we'll have a lot of curious people across the nation watching the our score.

Iowa State football is intriguing and Paul Rhoads is intriguing. I just don't want to lay an egg. We have proved we are good enough to play with OU.

I have to think we'd probably be ranked if we go in and beat OK on the road after last week.

Your math is off. Beating OU would be great, but they're ranked #11, not #2.

While I agree based on rankings alone the win over the Pokes was historic.... then again a win over the Sooners would be a historic win as well. Our overall record against the Sooners is 5-68-2. Yeah... OU has won or tied us in 94% of the games that we have played against them. To put it in even better perspective... ISU has won 1 game against the Sooners since 1961.

That being said, I don't know if this is the year we get it done or not against OU but I do know that it is one of the few remaining demons for CPR to slay.

Our guys expended so much emotional and physical energy on Friday. I'd really be shocked if we played with the same kind of intensity and determination two weeks in a row against elite opponents.

But, Rhoads has proven that you underestimate his team at your own peril, so I won't discount our guys at all. He's managed to exorcise so many ISU football demons in his 3 years... OU remains one of the biggest targets on our revenge list.

They are beatable by THIS team.

And if we do win, it will officially be the first time I would be worried about Rhoads leaving.

We're 28 point underdogs going into this game, pretty much the same as for the OSU game.

I live in Dallas so wasn't able to be at the OSU game. I'm not missing the opportunity to witness history first hand this week. I'll be in Norman!

I think we can beat them.

Bigger than the OSU win, maybe... another signature milestone win at the very least!!!

GO CLONES!

To me, Friday nights game is the biggest win of the season, even if we beat OU on Saturday. Don't get me wrong, beating OU would be huge. But beating the 2nd ranked team in the country on national television trumps all. I don't think we have anything to prove at this point. We've far exceeded any expectations. These players believe now that they can play with anyone, and they can.

The problem now is that the wins would not be mutually exclusive. I don't see how you could top what happened Friday night as far as a media explosion or national attention. But, a win in Norman would definitely prove this team is for real and move us up in the polls for sure.

But this game just doesn't have the impact for us without the OSU game. And as much as everyone likes to point out wins on the road as big deals (not saying they aren't) but that win at home Friday, that not only showed the team, but what this fanbase is all about!

I want to see another Stoops meltdown on Saturday!
