We have an old basic house antennae in our attic that works fine for network tv. It's pointed at Des Moines and reception is good.
So you obviously don't like watching sports at home.
Even the people who do the sling+, what all channels does that include? I get annoyed during football season with the mid-tier Dish option due to the few sports channels I don't get (mainly FS1), I imagine it'd be even worse with that.
I'm sorry...I don't think it's fair to include your internet, unless the only reason you have internet is to cut the cable. You would have internet anyway in roughly 99.8% of the cases.
In my case I'd have to upgrade internet to cut cable for speed & data cap reasons. In cases like mine it's relevant.
Also pretty much everyone with a normal internet package admits there is buffering. I don't have an issue with that when I'm just watching something by myself, but if I have a group of friends over for a big game I don't want everyone missing chunks due to unreliability.
I'll make the switch someday, just not worth it quite yet.
