Morris - rondo (pass first, flashy, good ball handlers and also simular bodies)

Bdj - jr smith (simular bodies with major athleticism and a smooth shot. Hopefully bdj isn't a ball hog or dbag like smith though.)

Naz long - jason terry (both 6th man with an amazing 3 pt shot.)

Hogue - faried (both undersized fowards with athleticism and are very aggressive. Great rebounders. )

Nader - Batum (simply because of looks and body shape. Haven't really seen much of his game)

Niang - diaw (kudos to whoever came up with that comparison. Best comparison of the bunch. Both awesome passers, stretch 4's, undersized for their position with no athleticism but amazing ball handling skills. Oh not to mention both will have a championship after this year ;)

Mckay - larry sanders (both big with major athleticism and good shot blockers and rebounders)

Early last year, I thought the Morris-Rondo comparison was a good one, but I don't think so anymore. Morris is a much better shooter.

So a lot of NBA player comparisons have been thrown around by Hoiberg and members of the media which made me wonder what the team of comparisons would look like. I would imagine we could throw together a pretty solid all time list, but I'll start with this years team.

Here's what I come up with:

Monte Morris
"Mateen Cleaves"

BDJ
"JR Smith"

Abdel Nader
"Nicholas Batum"

Dustin Hogue
"Kenneth Faried"

Georges Niang
"Kevin Love"

McKay
"DeMarre Carroll/Kenneth Faried"

Morris - Gary Payton

BDJ - Tracy McGrady

Abdel Nader - Royce White

Dustin Hogue - Charles Barkley

George Niang - Larry Bird

McKay - Kevin Garnett

World Champs Fellas. :twitcy:

I see a lot of Ejim in Jeff Green's game. Too bad Mel is 3" shorter.

I'll try to throw out a few new ones:
-Hogue - Shawn Marion
-Morris - Maurice Cheeks
-BDJ - Rockets era Robert Horry
-Niang - I don't think there's a better comparison than Diaw

I can't say who McKay and Nader resemble yet.

I see BDJ similar to Jimmy Butler. Tall 2 guard who has potential to be a great defender with good athleticism and a good outside shot.

I know he's not a 7'er but I see a lot of Dirk in Niang's game. I like the BJ and Rodman comparison's for Monte and Dustin...our guys both shoot it better though ;)

Nice Mo Cheeks reference. He was a very good point guard for those very good/great Sixers teams.
