Alright, we all have them...things that people say or jokes that are made all the time on here that make you absolutely bonkers. To kick this off, here's mine:

1) In before... - We get it, you're pointing out what some buffoon will inevitably say upon entering the thread. What you don't realize, though, is that this overused tactic has now exceeded the buffoonery of whatever thing the buffoon was going to say. Stop.

2) *** OFFICIAL ___(thread name)___ *** - Just, why? Not once have I opened a thread here and thought "well, I'm not sure how legitimate this is because it doesn't have the 'distinctive' three stars and all-caps OFFICIAL ahead of it." Plus, who gets to decide what's "official" and not? If anyone can start an "official" thread, doesn't that make it unofficial?

3) Cheap (and high quality) - "hahaha, someone said 'cheap' and you chimed in with 'high quality' to perpetuate a years-old joke that's gone very, very stale! You so funny!"

4) Stars(z) and Offers(z) - like the cheap and high quality joke, I can only assume this is some very dated reference to something that was once said a long time ago on here. Maybe it's still funny to those of you who have developed your own superior player ratings scheme that doesn't utilize stars or track the offers a recruit has received, but to everyone else, it's just dumb.

5) CMC/CSP/CPR/CFH - Ignoring the fact that it's not challenging to fully spell a coach's name (Fred Hoiberg...see, easy), why in the world does the initialism need to include the letter C? We know Steve Prohm is a coach, and nobody's confusing coach Matt Campbell, on an Iowa State message board, with the guy who ran against Steve King in 2010. But, thanks for the reminder, I guess.

Okay, now everyone get off my lawn!

Cheap and high quality jokes will never, ever, ever not be funny. Other than that I agree.

I can't stand mega threads that just keep going (I'm probably guilty of adding to them) - hard to get info out of them.

The whole let me mayor coach thing...don't get it.

Having 600 threads where everyone states how they can fix the mbb program.

Go read the original "let me mayor coach" thread. It's funny because he fixed his grammar by saying it again.

People posting threads with 5-10 total posts. Usually come after a bad loss and then disappear.

Posters - that beg for MODS to close threads/ban users like they have any control over what MODS do.

I'm cool w/ 2 and 5. I don't mind the use of CPR or CFH. It's easy and everyone knows what you are talking about.

I'm going to ban the next piece of **** that posts a spiderman gif in attempt to be funny....

I love when people act like a loss in mid-January just revealed to everyone that we aren't making the Final Four or winning the conference. I also love when people think their is a magical force of the universe against Iowa State that causes every team to shoot their best game of the year against us rather than our amazing defense.
