I plan on starting my 3 month membership today so that I can catch the bball games like tonight that are only on Cyclones.TV (from out of state). My question is...I have a 65" Smart TV that I have tried to use to pull up the games off cyclone.tv in the past, but have had no luck actually getting the game to play. Can you do this? Any suggestions? I can get it to bring up the website but it won't actually play the game and I am forced to watch it on the computer. Would rather watch on 65" over the 19" computer screen. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Best bet is to run a HDMI cable from your computer to your TV or get a device that will wirelessly mirror your computer screen onto the TV.

Smart TV's are hit and miss if it will play. Typically it is a problem with them not supporting flash or siverlight (don't remember which one is the culprit with Cyclones.tv). You would need an app on the TV to load it which will not happen with Cyclones.TV.

Hope this helps

Does anyone use the mobile app to watch live? Before I buy it, I'd like to know how well it works. I recall hearing complaints. Has it improved? I'm going to miss the game tonight unless I can watch on mobile.

The mobile app actually works great for me. We were in Minneapolis last week so I watched the Viterbo and Kansas game on the mobile app, really good picture too. I would suggest getting it!

Get your HDMI cables at monoprice.com. Retail outlets generally gouge the hell out of you.

How much easier can it get?

When you think about it for a second, if someone has a friggin "smart TV", allowing you to browse the internet, watch YouTube videos, etc...it should be hell of A LOT easier. Guy should just be able to turn his TV on, login to Cyclones.TV and use his damn TV as a 65" computer monitor.

Instead, he has to turn his TV on, turn his computer on, login to CTV on his computer, and connect his computer to his TV with a cord.

Is it a huge deal? No, certainly not. However, it could and should be easier with a smart TV.

I've tried both Hdmi and Chromecast and they will play, but they are so choppy I end up watching on my iPad normally.

One would hope/think that since Roku and Apple TV have now been established for a few years we could get a channel set-up on those systems to watch it, but instead we still have the same player set-up since what, 2007 when Chiz debuted?

Ding, ding, ding!

The NeuLion platform they use is similar to someone still using Netscape Navigator, Encarta, and MS-DOS.

I think its a Big 12 thing too, just atrocious.

My LG Smart TV would play Cyclones TV through the browser, but I could not make it full screen. I emailed tech support and they said they were surprised it even worked, but did not support it. Once Mediacom picked up the channel, I got rid of Cyclones TV.
