I’d guess 165/174, probably more likely 174. Won state at 165 this year as a junior.
Dresser keeps stacking really solid commitments. Another day at the office for him
I was “forced” to attend nearly all Johnston matches this year because my high school daughter and her friends decided wrestling is the best sport to watch, and actually wanted to understand what they were rooting for. My take is Helgeson is a tough, hardworking wrestler. Looking forward to seeing what KD, DSJ and BM can do with him.
I believe that is now the third brother or cousin that has committed to us from the Helgeson clan, Caleb, Owen (2024 recruit) and now Jacob.

Dresser mentions Paniro got a redshirt and has 3 years left. Either I missed that or this is new, said he has 3 years left.
If true that’s awesome. I remember getting laughed at for saying they’d find a way to make it right and get the ncaa to backtrack
It’s been a cluster from the beginning of this deal with the state and the NCAA.
The NCAA obviously wasn’t going to trumpet the fact that they screed up and Paniro got lumped in with everyone else when he shouldn’t have, so just like magic, Paniro is getting his eligibility back.
