This seemed low to me. I see ncc actually played Wichita state and Cincinnati close 4 months ago. It's hard to get a read on them after that, with the teams in their conference.

Also, iowa is a 1.5 pt underdog in their play in game.

Anyone making a trip to Vegas for the early rounds? Would be a blast.

I'm not a gambler, but I always follow the bettering lines on here. I think if I were a better, the end of the game would drive me nuts...you get a team in "foul to try and catch up" mode and the winning team can usually add 10 pts pretty quick.

I think I would bet on NCC with the expectation that ISU wins but doesn't cover. Those types of teams scare me, they could go off like crazy from deep and before you know it you're down 20. I just hope ISU remembers Hampton, and comes out pumped.

Current players were in elementary school when we lost to Hampton. They probably don't remember it very well.

Headed to Vegas with a group. I still want to have a CF game watch for everyone in Vegas! That would be a blast!

UNNC is from the same conference as Hampton and another MEAC champ took out a #2 seed a couple of years ago. No matter how young they are all of our players will hear about it ad nauseum this week.

NCC has one main man who takes a quarter of their shots like Marcus Paige. We have lots of chasers. I like our defense inside against this prolific guard. We do have to have someone watch the 3 point line at the same time.

Is this over under for the amount of minutes Ellerman is going to play? I would say that seems about right.

If I were Hoiberg I'd sit the team down in the film room and have them watch the last 5 minutes of the Hampton game, point out that that team went 25-6 and won the Big 12, that Tinsley was an NBA veteran and the best point guard in ISU history, and tell them no way in hell is that happening again.

I would look at the last 2 years of what Fred's teams did in their first game of the NCAA tourney and make their wager accordingly.

There is a reason many think he one of the best offensive minds in the game. If he has time to prepare for a game, against a team who has not seen ISU before, it has got to be a freaking nightmare for the opposition.

ISU will probably start out slow as they adjust and then put the hammer down.

I expect Ejim and Georges to go all sorts of nuts on their inside guys. Georges against a slow 6'7" guy, ummm yes please.
