I couldn't help notice he was in on a play by the goal line. Had a pancake that looked like a bear mauling someone with a picnic basket. Looks like a keeper.
I’m not sure if you knew, but he played the entire game at right guard.
A redshirt freshman to come on the field and play like that....And to only get better as time goes on.....Definately a KEEPER !!!!I couldn't help notice he was in on a play by the goal line. Had a pancake that looked like a bear mauling someone with a picnic basket. Looks like a keeper.
Im beginning to think That R Hudson is soon to be part of my Mandella effect...Soon he will not be on the roster and i will swear he was there...
Very impressed with Simmons. Him and downing can be maulers.
Honestly OL is one of the groups I have never questioned this staff for kids they recruit.Just finished the first half. Even the man down field penalty looked looked badass. TD he rag dolled his man. Not sure how they ever get him off the field moving forward.
PS kid was a low 3*, that's why I don't get worked up about recruiting rankings.
I rewatched the game today focusing on the OL. They were very good. More physical than the TCU DL. Simmons played really good for a RS FR. He looked strong and very athletic. All the guys played well. We still have some things to clean up, but it is a good start.
At 6’3”? Not so much.I thought Simmons was recruited as a tackle? I thought he played well for his first start.
Injured. At least he made the trip this time, that’s better than Downing did. Hopefully one or both of them are back for OU.Does Robert Hudson exist? I’m curious, I keep hearing about him
I thought I heard Hudson started?Injured. At least he made the trip this time, that’s better than Downing did. Hopefully one or both of them are back for OU.
Simmons’ play shows us the OL is finally starting to develop some quality depth.
Nope. Simmons got the call as the starter on the right side.I thought I heard Hudson started?
