Why was BDJ the only one arrested? Why weren't his roommates arrested too? Was BDJ the only one arrested because he was the one who answered the door?

Dear Santa, please bring BDJ some Beats headphones for Xmas.

Thanks,
ISU bball fans

Won't work...

NCAA almost certainly would declare him ineligible for improper benefits. Look what they did to Hubalek for jeans. Those Beats are way more valuable.

After reading all these tweets it actually makes me want Fred to sit him. If he is this big of a dumb *** and he gets let off by Fred this time you know he won't learn a lesson. We are good enough to play with Iowa without him but if we lose it can be a teaching point. He will have let down his teammates and I'd rather not have him for Iowa than conference play. I won't be upset if its handled internally but think it could be good if he sits.
I don't think it's possible for this to be a teaching moment. Because from the sounds of it this wasn't the first time he had been told to cool it. And there are only three reasons someone keeps thumbing their nose at authority......too drunk, too high or doesn't give a d***! My bet is on doesn't give a d***. Hard to teach someone out of that. He has to do that himself.

If the story is true that they didn't even find anything they just smelled it then I say no suspension. Make him run and cut some minutes for being an idiot but if they couldn't even find any pot anywhere then all this is is the cops being stupid.

What about the repeated noise violations - how is that simply "cops being stupid". Hopefully the drug charges go away but BDJ is a *******.

I sure wish the Ames police would have gave me 5 warnings(or maybe 1) before they sent me off to the Story county jail for public intox. I wasn't even bothering anyone.

Cops bent over backwards to keep him out of trouble and he still got in trouble. How are the cops being stupid?

CF story says they got a search warrant and found some pot on a dresser.

Eastern Iowa "Sports" news will be all over this. They have been running out of hawkeye related things to "report" on.

Lol. So when the cops have given him 4 warnings in the past without arresting him they are the stupid ones for making the arrest the 5th time? I think you need a mirror.

Maybe this wouldn't be a big deal for a lot of other basketball programs. I get it...this is college. Stuff happens. But this is supposed to be Focus Town. C'mon, man!

Dejean-Jones’ apartment had been an issue for local police recently as they’d visited it five separate times due to noise complaints. Huff said they worked with Dejean-Jones, other residents of the building and the ISU men’s basketball coaching staff to alleviate the issue, even creating a system for other residents to text Dejean-Jones if noise was became an issue. - See more at: http://amestrib.com/sports/men-s-ba...-marijuana-noise-charges#sthash.65cKfYgV.dpuf "
