I highly doubt that a student bbal mgr in the last two hours has even known whether CFH and BDJ have even talked yet let alone tell u without CFH telling the media first himself. I'm not saying he won't miss a game just not buying it sorry.

Youre right, I was just adding info from a source closer than we are. Im sure he talked to Abdel about it and gets a vibe around the Sukup Center right now. Just saying.

60DB at 3AM with a lot of bass is not a trivial amount, that'll make it very tough to sleep. BDJ is an ******* for being so loud. Just because he's a basketball player doesn't mean he gets to ruin the quality of life of his neighbors.

Clearly none of you have kids.

Why would they measure the sound outside the building, instead of right outside his door?

Probably property entrance type issues. Not to mention - if it sounds like they're having a conversation only 3 ft away from outside the bldg on the street - what does it sound like in the bldg?

We don't have McKay yet. We'll only lose if we have a bad night.... Those are the two main ones I've seen.

Every fan base is going to have an excuse for losing. The excuses won't matter, the winning team gets the W and bragging rights. Also, if ISU plays bad and loses, they deserve to lose.

An upset neighbor who sat down with the defendant, police, and the defendant's head basketball coach. Which has been verified by the defendant and the police department. You really think what he's saying isn't true?

Of course not, ask Lena Dunham

Are you really that dense? If it was such a problem then he should have suspended earlier when those incidents happened. How is 5 decibels over the legal limit the straw that breaks the camels back?

Some of you got your hopes up with the drug charges and now are latching onto anything and everything.
Ummm, well cause it was over the limit at 3am? You seem like the dense one.

I'm going to laugh my *** off for days when we win Friday without BDJ, if he isn't playing.

How is section110 not banned yet, he's obviously trolling.

Sharing my opinion just like everyone else. I've even made it clear twice now that I thought Jok should have been suspended for his incidents. I'm not letting bias get in the way here.

BDJ isn't going to learn anything if he continues to be allowed to do whatever he pleases at the expense of those around him. I think the right thing to do is suspend him for a couple games just like I thought with Jok. However, selfishly I'd rather see BDJ play. Will be much more entertaining to watch the two teams play at full strength. No excuses necessary.

I said I believed it was true but it could be exaggerated for all we know, like I said it's only one side to the story

My thought is, if he was a Freshman, or so, and this was his first run in, then yes, probably no suspension would be warranted. Maaaaybe a game. Unfortunatley for him, thats not the case. The kid came to ISU with a ton of baggage, starting at USC. He, Fred, and everyone else clearly knows that this (ISU bball) is his last chance to shape up, or he's done. In other words, he's on a VERY short leash. Couple this with the fact that the police have been called multiple time to his residence, they have had at least one sit down meeting with Fred, the cops, ect., and they were all smoking (c'mon, lets not be naive), I just dont see this ending well for him.

Now, I have a ton of respect for Fred, and I dont place any blame on him. He is trying to help the kid, and I get that, but at some point enough is enough. And I know everyone is arguing about the exact decibel level, but at this point, it doesnt matter, and the point is moot. It could have been anything. Bottom line, he, after he has received chance after chance, continually puts himself in poor situations.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Fred give him either a VERY lengthy suspension, or even giving him the boot. With the type of recruits you guys get (and im not knocking it), it wouldnt be a bad idea to send a message that- just because you got a second chance with ISU, doesnt mean you can continue to pull the same crap you were before. Its your last chance, act like it.

bouncing basketballs in the apartment?

i have friends over and we hang out on my back deck of a house i own. even though i own it i don't want my guests to swear and yell loudly because i don't want to upset the neighbors. it's not that hard to be polite to others.
