If his brothers tweet gets big I could see a suspension. That might of been a dagger. What an idiot. No one "knew" he was one of the smokers.

We don't have McKay yet. We'll only lose if we have a bad night.... Those are the two main ones I've seen.
Well we dont have McKay yet, and you saying that isnt a big deal is just ignorant. And As I take it, on the "Report" has just as many "if we dont shoot or rebound well we wont win."

OBVIOUSLY if you dont play well it makes it harder to win.

Honestly the more I read the stupider this is. Does it sound like bdj and/or the guys living with him are dicks? Yes. Does it sound that much different than a lot of college apartments? Not really.

no, it sounded like BDJ had it coming. Some of you guys amaze me with how much you idolize athletes.

Calling the police a dozen times a lot? Definitely, but it sounds like BDJ didn't get the memo or didn't care. If you had the police complain four times to you about noise, you would:

A) Move out and get another place if possible
B) Be quiet and go somewhere else to talk.

You guys wouldn't be happy if you were in that kids' place. You might not be calling the cops all the time but you wouldn't say "Oh, he's an athlete, he can do whatever the **** he wants". Welcome to the real world where it won't work out that way.
My roommate is a ****. He can't have anything out at all or he gets mad. Last year the people that lived around me were really loud. I know what it is like to have to live with people who make my life miserable. It doesn't matter if someone is being a ****by being loud or being a **** by ******** about anything they can.

A ****** person is a ****** person.

I'd take a guess that at least 5% of our fan base could see an ISU athlete shoot someone in the face and have an excuse within 10 seconds.

I could say the same thing of every fan base on the face of the earth... see Iowa and Pierre Pierce.

Ya, because playing loud music is equatable to shooting someone in the face.

I think you underestimate this board. If I was in college and our star bball player lived next to me, I'd probably make him some frozen pizzas and garlic bread. Cant be much louder there than when I lived above Es Tas.

Agree that there are too many jock sniffers on this board.

The legal stuff is nothing - at least nothing worth a suspension - in this case.

The only reason BDJ doesn't play tomorrow is between him and Fred. If he promised Fred something (no noise, no pot, etc) and he broke that promise, then that is worth a suspension regardless of the game.

Definitely not trolling. The reason I feel that way is the kid has a history of crap following him. I mean, he broke his teammates jaw at USC, then at UNLV, he walked out on his team and had an indefinite suspension put on him. Its not like this was his first run in. Plus, this was not his first run in with Ames police, and it sounds like it was his 5th or 6th run in. After a while, how many chances does he get?

Is it harsh to kick him off the team? Yeah, but at the same time, as I stated earlier, sending a message wouldnt be a bad idea in this situation, given Freds willingness to take kids with checkered pasts.

Your examples are just bad, they have to do with internal team issues and most likely had a lot to do with they way they were coached. Completely apples to oranges, I get that you are evaluating his overall character, but those are internal team beefs and not being a college student with a little bit of touchy neighbor....
