i am a sucker for 40-60's cars. I cant think of a model in particular, but I just think they were cool designs and built like a tank.

Edit: I dig the Hudson Hornet

My first car: 1981 Datsun 210 SL Wagon (nicknamed the silver bullet). It was 8 years old when I 'inherited' it at 16.....

Two cars, actually:

The 1967 Pontiac GTO to replace the one that basically looks like a souped up 1997-2004 Grand Prix (not that it's not a sweet-looking car, it's just not a GTO).

the 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Resurrect the Bandit!

That is one hot Prom car right there. =)
My first car was a 87 plymouth sundance. Thing went 0-60 in 4 hours.

I had a 68 Satellite such as this one in HS (except mine was baby blue without the engine open). We used to go "Satellite surfing" where girls would stand on the roof while we drove around the block. It was a cheap rip-off of "Teen Wolf", but it was a blast.:yes4lo:

"If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious sh--!"

If I could bring a car back, I would want the original 1969 Dodge Charger RT. Not talking about the 4 door piece of crap that Dodge is making right now, I want the 2 door muscle car version:

1965 Mercury CYCLONE. I'd paint it Cardinal with Gold racing stripes with navy blue pinstripes edging the gold stripes. I mean it's a Cyclone after all.

1972 Chevelle would be my car of choice. Sweet, sweet car

My first car was a "vette", Chevette that is. That turbocharged hairdryer couldn't pass a turtle with bad feet, but I tell you what, I beat the heck out of that car and it took it all and even outrun a few town cops and state troopers, only because I had momentum and knew when to duck into an alley.

Cue the Dukes of Hazzard theme. (not for the car)

International Harvester Scout or the AMC Gremlin. Both sweet cars, in their own way. :biggrin9gp:

1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. Why? Because when I run something over, I prefer not to know about it. And, when flooring the accelerator, it's neat to see the fuel gage physically move towards empty as the speedometer moves towards the top end (460 4BBL)

1971 Plymouth Barracuda convertible. Why? Because Mannix drove one, and he was cool...

Otherwise, I like the looks of those cars...
