MLB: Dempster traded to the Braves

I was so thrilled with the trade that I completely glossed over the bolded part.
I've already told people that there is, so there better be or else I'll look like a liar. And I am not a liar.

Sad to see him go if he does leave, but the Cubs need more pitching than just one good pitcher. In Theo We Trust. He knows what he is doing.
The holdup seems to be on Dempster...not sure what he is holding off for?

Yes I know...they need him to agree to the trade. I'm just not so sure why he hasn't yet. I see no reason for him to not want to go to Atlanta.
Again, I understand that. However, he has been accepting and very forthcoming about being traded, so for him to say no would kind of be a surprise.
Something in the deal had to make him stop and think it over...wonder if there was a sign and trade or something to that effect?

I didn't realize Dempster had an ERA just over 2. Wow. Yes please. Even if it's only for the rest of the season he's better than what we've been putting out there in the 4 and 5 spots by a mile. Hell, he's pitching better this season than anyone on the Braves staff other than Brandon Beachy (pre-injury).
