He would be a fool to transfer. If he transfers to another D1 school he has to sit out a year to play one more year. If he pulls his head out he could start in the B12 next year. There is a reason he was still available in the spring.

All this still misses one point. When Colvin was brought back after Boozer's injury and Lucaa leaving, GMac led everyone to believe that he was bringing him back because he was just too short of bodies on the bench otherwise. Therefore, he ended Colvin's suspension early.
So what is different now? If you HAD to bring Colvin back then, why do you not have to play Dendy now?

I don't know about you but if I don't show up for work when I am expected to be back no matter the reason and don't even make a phone call I am fired.

I agree wtih Marty Terrell on one thing, players beleive playing for Mac is not fun, I think he has taken the fun out of playing basketball for these guys.

Ask Larry's former players if playing for him was fun. Or Tim Floyd's former players. Winning cures all and that is why Larry and Floyd were successful.

How many of those players played in the NBA? Maybe Fizer but he went to the draft and did not leave the team for another program, do you know a program that has lost this many good players via transfers over the years cause I don't?

Does anyone really pay that much attention to other schools' transfers? I doubt there are many.
So I don't know, but I'm sure there are, since this junk happens everywhere.
So you have one guy that got kicked off. One said he was leaving before Mac got here. One of them may also have been going, we aren't sure but we know it was in his head. Staiger left to go pro in Europe but isn't NBA talent, nowhere near it actually.
It's really, really hard to take someone seriously when they can't spell a player's name correctly.
By the way, Mike was booted after issues with running into the law, and Blalock and Stinson went the draft route. Staiger technically went professional too. :dull:
Who cares. I don't watch the NBA to say "there's another Cyclone playing Pro Ball!" I care about what happens at Hilton. We've had exciting teams, great players and ISU had a reputaion as a legitimate Big 12 & D-1 program. Maybe not top 20, but we were respected. Today, we're a joke! Either Coach Mac has had the worse luck with players or he might be the issue.
